For Business and the Business of Daily Living

Facebook - I'm a new member

At the suggestion of my son and a few other nudges, I joined Facebook.  He said it was an easy way to stay up to date with family and friends.  Since he is in Okinawa and very busy I understood his request.

Then I listened to a teleclass on Facebook.  She said it was a great place to develop relationships/networks around the world. Since, one I love to travel and two I am a business owner with a product that is easy to ship any place around the world, it seemed like a perfect fit.

I am now in the process of growing that network, staying in touch and watching my world expand.

Join my network of friends and lets see where we can travel.  Tell me you found me at my pendulum coach blog.

Marketing from My Passion

As I look at my e-mail and all the products there are available now that will get you to "the top of the list", I ponder.  I do need to market my products and books and I would like to have more buyers from my web sites and yet my line of products are not about selling more, getting higher rankings.

I sell products that keep your food fresher - longer, enjoy a restful nights sleep and reduce stress.  While they are basic needs the frenzy in the marketplace is more bout sales letters, funneling your market.  So I muse and observe.  What I am beginning to experience is a different type of marketing.

My products have been available for two years and now I am getting referals from people who bought them in the beginning.  People are also ordering for gifts so they can share the benefits they are experiencing.  On woman called Monday night as she is getting on a plane to China on Saturday and wanted to be sure she had Fresh and Vital before she left.

What, I realize I like about this way of getting the word out is the lack of pressure, the lack of hype and the frenzy of push, push and puch.  I don't know about you but it really feels good on my body.

I have been working with energies of different type over the last 25 years and pay attention to "how things Feel".  I think as I review my web sites, blogs and newsletter, I will stick to what feels good in my gut and let you discover the quality of my products and then you tell your friends and co-workers.  From there we will both benefit.  Thanks for your support.

Clearing Clutter

As I was digging deep into clearing the top of my desk, in one of the infamous stacks I found three article I had written for a newsletter in 1985.  At the time I was president of NAPS - National Association of Professional Saleswomen.  It is fun to reread and ponder.  The material I wrote those many years ago are as useful today as they were then.  I share with you now one of those articles.  I will post the remaining two in the future.  I only made a few minor corrections.   Now a travel back in time.  Download plan_with_positive_expectancy.doc

Chi Patterns Explained

Everything is energy in a variety of forms or formats.
Some of the more familiar ones are:

* SOUND                                  * WORDS
* SMELLS                                 * SHAPES
* LIGHT                                    * PATTERNS
* COLOR                                  * THOUGHTS

     Our body is a storehouse of energy in our cells, chakras and meridians. The food we eat renews our energy source as do supplemental vitamins, minerals and water. Our heart, a frequency generator, sends these broad spectrum energies through our body in a split second to allow us to maintain our health, emotional balance and a spiritual center.
     Our cars, homes and offices are energy cells with a variety of purposes. They need to be oiled, painted, decorated and maintained. We understand about oil changes, tune-ups or a make over for these things in our lives.

Chi Patterns work with the unseen, subtle energies of physical objects. The goal is to increase or improve effectiveness and provide a different environment for an efficient operation.

Chi Patterns integrate many subtle energy techniques into a variety of devices that demonstrate unique properties with frequently amazing results. These proprietary formulas span a broad spectrum of applications from improved mileage to fresher food.

Chi Patterns are delivered on the labels of bottles containing a blend of trace minerals or on a laminated card.  The card is used to charge water as “Feeling Good”  or a space like the refrigerator – “A Food Freshener”.

Getting UnStuck

Well it has been a few days since my last post.  Some might call it writers block and I view it more as a time of exploration.  It has been a time where I have read, written and listened.  I have listened to others in my profession, to friends and clients and then to myself.  As I continue this journey I more clearly see my next steps.

At times I felt like I was on a treadmill and going no where and yet at the end of the day lots was happening.  I have added a whole new facet to my business in designing patterns.  For more about that visit my web site.  These patterns are changing energies, improving food and reducing stress along with more products being tested each day.  The great part of this is that other companies are asking me to develop products for them as well.  It is fun to be in a design and test mode and negotiate contracts.  This is a whole new world for me.

I am back to writing more and have lots of ideas spinning in my mind so stay tuned.

Power of Thinking

Have you ever had those moments where you made a decision, a quick decision, a quick action and were amazed by it?  Have those decisions gotten you out of tight spaces, avoided an accident or saved a life?  There may be times when you responded with your first impression to hire someone or "to go for it" when to some it may appear risky.
    These and several other topics are featured in Malcolm Gladwell's new book blink.  Here he talks about basketball players with court sense and producers with the perfect actor sense.  One study shows how couples respond to each other predicts the future of their relationship.  Another reflects on the sue factor of doctors.
If you want to better understand your ability to think without thinking give it a read. I will add more to this post as I progress with my reading.  This book gives good data for those of you who are "intuitive thinkers".

    Read on as the book shows how surveys and ad messages impact our thinking and also how we act or react.  It is subtle and powerful how easily our mind is influenced.
So now I ask what are you viewing and reading?  to order blink click on the link on the side panel.
