Archives of early Quack Reporting

Early on, as I began my Blogging career in 2003, I posted at a different site.  That site is still alive and well and quite colorful I must say.  I would like you to have a look at that site as there are some exceptional articles, resources and information that are not out dated.  I invite you to explore.  I plan on doing the same and eliminate non essential material.  Enjoy your journey as much as I did in writing, posting and coloring my ideas.  It is all about patterns, colors and how we live our lives.

Eating For Your Body vs. Emotions

In a recent visit to a farm in Utah, where they dehydrated their fruits, vegetables, nuts and and grains, I was very impressed.

What attracted me there in the beginning was the food was not pasturized.  That means low heat is used and the whole food will retaine the enzymes and nutrition.  The quality of the food is preserved and you and I will benefit from the diverse variety and quality.

The second thing is they did not use preservatives or fillers.  YEA!!! Do you realize how rare this is in the food from the grocery shelves.  The quality is like shopping at the organic food stand everyday.  What is so much fun is that you can buy this quality everyday, create a drink, shake or soup "add to soup under 100 degrees) and experience a restored vitality in your life.

I tested this food energetically and was very impressed with the vitality compared to other products I had in my kitchen.

SO, if you are pressed for time and can't juice, want healthy protein at work or when you travel or are looking to shift your eating from "for your emotions to for your body"  check them out.  They sure are a great addition for the raw food diet.

Buy Whole Foods and Thrive!

What impressed me in my visit was several things:  Ethics, Vitality of the Land, System used in Dehydration and "just the feel of the place".   I guess I could say everything. Questions please e-mail me.  suetrump@att.net

They have virgin cold pressed coconut oil too.

ICE - In Case of Emergency

Add ICE phone numbers to your cell phone

ICE - In Case of Emergency

A campaign encouraging people to enter an emergency
contact number in their mobile phone's memory under
the heading ICE (In Case of Emergency), has rapidly
spread throughout the world as a particular
consequence of terrorist attacks in London.

Originally established as a nationwide campaign in
the UK, ICE allows Paramedics or police to be able
to contact a designated relative next-of-kin in an
emergency situation.
The idea is the brainchild of East Anglian Ambulance
Service
paramedic Bob Brotchie and was launched in May this
year. Bob, 41, who has been a paramedic for 13 years,
said:
"I was reflecting on some of the calls I've attended at
the roadside where I had to look through the mobile phone
contacts struggling for information on a shocked or
injured person.
Almost everyone carries a mobile phone now, and with ICE
we'd know immediately who to contact and what number to
ring. The person may even know of their medical history."

By adopting the ICE advice, your mobile will help the
rescue services quickly contact a friend or relative
-- which could be vital in a life or death situation.
It only takes a few seconds to do, and it could easily
help save your life.

Why not put ICE in your phone now?
Simply select a new contact in your phone book,
enter the word 'ICE' and the number of the person
you wish to be contacted.

Sue's Comment
It might be a good idea to have and ICE2 number
in your phone as well.  This would be someone out
of the area.  If a husband and wife are both involved
in an accident or a natural disaster this
second contact number would be essential.

If you are under a doctors care for critical care
ICE DR would be an additional code to add to the
phone list.

Health Choices Challenged

DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS UPDATE
As mentioned above, the Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food
Supplements have become official. Those interested in this topic can
track the impact of these Guidelines in AHHA's special site
http://codexinfo.org. You can sign up to be kept up to date as new
materials are added to codexinfo.org by e-mailing your full name and
e-mail address to codex@ahha.org.

We need to stay informed!  Our options are changing and not for our well being is my take on this issue.  The stories I hear from Europe is not good and the USA is the next big target.  If ever we are to speak up for our FREEDOMS it is now.  Our health is our most precious resource.

Organic on the Label???

USDA WILL ALLOW MISLEADING ORGANIC LABEL CLAIMS TO CONTINUE
In a controversial move, the USDA has announced that it will not monitor or police "organic" label claims on body care products nor allow companies that use certified organic ingredients to display the "USDA Organic" label. This complete turnabout in policy essentially gives the green light to unscrupulous companies to label non-organic body care products as organic, whether they are or not, while penalizing companies that have gone to the trouble and expense to source certified organic ingredients. This USDA ruling contradicts a previous 2002 directive that stated that if a body care product contains certified organic ingredients, it could be labeled as such. The new directive will likely reduce the demand for organic ingredients and feed stocks from organic farmers by hundreds of millions of dollars. Sign petition to the USDA here: http://www.organicconsumers.org/bodycare/action.cfm

Balanced Body

FINDING BALANCE
“We are not sick because we are fat, we are fat because we are sick.”
Dr. Ahron Freidman
Ahron has some questions to ask your body about the foods you eat and how they impact your adrenals and pancreas.  If your body is craving sugar or other foods your question to your body may give you a false positive which is different from addressing various organs.  How are you impacting your kidneys, lungs and heart with your choice of food?
He goes on to talk about your trigger foods – those foods that don’t support your health or are not foods of your genetic lineage. For more on this e-book and the herbs that support finding that balance go to this site for information on Viva Slim.  The book is included in the price.

Exercise:
How beneficial is this food on my adrenals?
