Liquids on a Plane

Many experts believe that binary liquid explosives (explosives created by mixing two otherwise harmless liquids together) are neither as easy to make or as feasible to use in a terrorist action as the mainstream media has implied in the wake of the recent British terrorism arrests.

If they question the quality of the liquid you are carrying why not have a "will you drink, eat or taste the liquid carrying line".  If you pass that screening the you clear the taste test.  It might be easier to screen what one takes into the bathroom on a plane that in a carry on. 

Aren't we a little...NO a lot out of balance.  More control is throwing the power and freedom we thought we once had or assumed we had out of balance .  They are setting up FEAR as a daily diet.  No wonder we have obesity as a health challenge.  Has anyone ever done a study of how much fear and emotions contribute to the challenges of overweight.  Then again who would fund it and who would be the bad guys.  It won't be MacDonalds or Del Taco. 

Read the Labels

It is time to pay attention to the labels and even do some testing to see if the products you are buying are safe for your body and the health of your family. 

Many items do not make to the label as they are below a certain percentage of the product ingredients.

THE MOST DANGEROUS INGREDIENTS IN CONVENTIONAL FOODS

1) Sodium nitrite -- causes cancer, found in most processed meats like hot dogs, bacon, sausage. Used to make meats appear red (a color fixer chemical).

2) Hydrogenated oils -- causes heart disease, nutritional deficiencies, general deterioration of cellular health, and much more. Found in cookies, crackers, margarine and many "manufactured" foods. Used to make oils stay in the food, extending shelf life. Sometimes also called "plastic fat."

3) Excitotoxins -- aspartame, monosodium glutamate and others (see below). These neurotoxic chemical additives directly harm nerve cells, over-exciting them to the point of cell death, according to Dr. Russell Blaylock. They're found in diet soda, canned soup, salad dressing, breakfast sausage and even many manufactured vegetarian foods. They're used to add flavor to over-processed, boring foods that have had the life cooked out of them.

Hemp crop for California

The following is good news for Farmers in California.  Hemp is a crop with many uses and is a farm and people friendly crop.  It is time we in the USA begin to grow it again.  Maybe it can replace some of the GMO crops and restore our country side.  It is used for paper so it will save some trees too.  www.Nativa.com  makes some wonderful hemp seed bars, protien power and shakes.  Check them out.

We are pleased to report that AB 1147, the California Industrial Hemp Farming Act, passed in the Senate today with a bi-partisan vote of 26-13. The bill now heads to the Assembly for a final concurrence vote and will then to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for his signature.

Since passing out of the Assembly in January of this year, AB 1147 gained momentum as legislators learned that

California businesses spend millions of dollars each year importing hemp from

Canada, 

China

and

Europe

. Demand for hemp products such as clothing, food, body care, paper and auto parts has been growing rapidly in recent years with the U.S. hemp market now exceeding $270 million in estimated annual retail sales. The new law would give farmers the ability to legally supply

U.S. manufacturers with hemp seed, oil and fiber and would not weaken anti-drug laws.

SCIENTIFIC FOUL PLAY AT THE FDA
The Union of Concerned Scientists has released a survey of scientists who work for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The survey reveals that one-fifth of FDA scientists "have been asked, for non-scientific reasons, to inappropriately exclude or alter technical information or their conclusions in a FDA scientific document." The study strongly suggests that the FDA is not adequately regulating products that significantly impact public health, including food, drugs, vaccines, and medical devices. The survey also indicates that 61 percent of the respondents knew of cases where FDA political appointees have "inappropriately injected themselves into FDA determinations or actions." Eighty one percent of FDA scientists in the survey agreed that the "public would be better served if the independence and authority of FDA post-market safety systems were strengthened."
