Dalai Lama Views on Education

Interview following a session with Dalai Lama

Has education turned in a a machine production center...training our children as we too have been trained...to run machines. Does it matter if it is on an automobile production line or pushing mortages on unsuspecting buyers?  Repeated over the last many years there are many examples of this production line known as education...but what happened to the learning part?  Have we lost the creative genius in children?  Those who think out of the box are branded as disruptive and sent to special schools so they can "graduate".  We don't want to ruin the stastics on graduating students in the school district do we?

Art, music and PE have been dropped yet in future lives what feed a population more than an appreciation for a healthy body and mind.

Let's inspire our children to think, to be creative and to inspire others to do the same.  How can we all help a child grow to be all that she can be?  How can we support a child so he is productive for himself, his family and his community?

Think on this.

Going Organic in Iowa Means Reclaiming the Family Farm

Good News!  In a nation that has been losing farms at an amazing rate there is a new breed of farms emerging.  In pockets across the nation families are returning to farms.  Some are coming back and others are exploring this new life style.  They are bringing with them inspiring ideas beyond the roadside stand or Farmer's Market stall.  They are creating a culture, one that is bringing their community to their farm.  Some have festivals, others bring school children and some are CSA's where the community invest money in future crops.

Great News for those of use who live on concrete pads or in the urban jungle.  Maybe your neighborhood could set up a field trip, create car pools and go visit a local farm.

When you come home with bundles of produce be sure you have Fresh and Vital in your refrigerator.  It will keep those lush crops fresher longer.

Now read what others are doing.

The Life Organizer - Points to Ponder as I unclutter my office

Ponder on these.  They are great topics for discussion in your Mastermind group or around the dinner table.  Enjoy!  The following are from the New Age Retailer, June/July 2007. The book reference is at the end.

"What do I need to dump out of my brain to make more space for what I would rather focus on?

What am I most satisfied with?

How and where can I slip away to a mini-retreat soon?

Is there something I am doing for someone else that I actually want to do for myself?

If I were infused with 20 times more courage, what would I let myself know?

How much of my heart am I willing to shine out into the world?

What makes me sing for joy and jump out of bed at 6 a.m.?

What one thought could I change today that would allow me to be more at peace?

What am I ready to let go of?

What happens when I want something but can’t have it? Or, don’t have it yet?”

From The Life Organizer by Jennifer Louden

Isn't it amazing what surfaces when one cleans up their office...an amazing project filled with volumes of wisdom.

Tribal Leadership - Tools for Understanding Self

Finding it interesting as I read this book how I explore my role(s) in various groups.  How have I responded, carried out my "job" or lead/followed when a trustee of a non-profit.

When one is working as an EcoEntrepreneur there are times when it is difficult to get a measure on interactions.  It has to come from reflections.  I am now making observations on how I show up in a discussion group.  How is my response geared by others in the group causes me to ponder.

I find it fun to reflect on past jobs and how the climate and roles varied in each company.

Fresh and Vital™ - A Chi Intention Card Story

Some of you have heard me speak on color, energy, intentions or have read my books.  Most are asking how I got started creating Chi Intention Cards™ and designing Chi Patterns™.  I thought I would “catch you up” on this work.

It all began with the success I had in creating an energy pattern for a client and I decided to create one for myself.  I was well aware of the energy around the food I brought home from the grocery store and decided it was time to “clean it up

Many people have handled this food and their thoughts, words and other toxins still surround every product.   I had been “cleaning it up” randomly over the years using several techniques and it all took time.  Now, I thought, I would develop a pattern and use my knowledge of color and energy to keep my refrigerator and pantry “clean” all the time.

After designing Fresh and Vital™ I placed it in the refrigerator and determined it worked. How? It cleaned up the food.  I tested it in the same way I determined it was “contaminated”.  It was working to “clean up” my salad dressing, eggs, sauces and produce.  What I didn’t expect was that by “cleaning” up the food I would extend its shelf life and “improve the taste” of some products.  After several weeks I realized spinach, lettuce, beet greens were still crisp.  I wasn’t   throwing out drippy bags of produce.

I invited several friends to test it too and they got the same results…. food stayed fresh, tasted better - even leftovers.  The feedback on Fresh and Vital™ continues – “I love my Fresh and Vital™.”  “My celery was crisp and tasted fresh after 2 weeks.”  “Mushrooms, in my refrigerator for 3 ½ weeks, were still good enough to eat.”  There are many more comments just like these

Chi Intention Cards™ including Fresh and Vital™ are designed to last as they are encased in plastic.  When this case is broken it may longer work.  The original cards are still working in all the test kitchens three years later.

One client, the owner of a spa, has sold hundreds of Fresh and Vital™ to her clients.  She says, now after two years, she doesn’t have to promote it.  Her clients are selling Fresh and Vital™ for her based on their experience.

I invite you to visit www.freshandvital.com.  Look at the pictures, read the benefits and consider them a great gift item too.  It is a gift that keeps on giving.  You will save your self and your friends money and time.  Fresh and Vital™ also reduces waste and saves shopping trips.  It is not based on green bag technology, the egg or others on the market.

Share this story with your friends as I would love for people, around the world to enjoy the benefits of “clean” food.

Facebook - I'm a new member

At the suggestion of my son and a few other nudges, I joined Facebook.  He said it was an easy way to stay up to date with family and friends.  Since he is in Okinawa and very busy I understood his request.

Then I listened to a teleclass on Facebook.  She said it was a great place to develop relationships/networks around the world. Since, one I love to travel and two I am a business owner with a product that is easy to ship any place around the world, it seemed like a perfect fit.

I am now in the process of growing that network, staying in touch and watching my world expand.

Join my network of friends and lets see where we can travel.  Tell me you found me at my pendulum coach blog.

Green Products? -- What does it mean to design a Green Product?

I have developed a line of products that:

►          Small, the size of a business card

►          Protected by a plastic shield – to extend shelf life – protect from water damage

►          Lasts and lasts

►          Requires no batteries

►          No moving parts to break or replace

►          Needs replacement only when damaged or lost

►          Work very well for the intended issue/purpose

Does this make them green?

Intentions - Read by the Computer - Communication of the Future

Possibilities for the future are unlimited as computers are now reading thoughts.  Watch as your intentions are displayed.

60 Minutes from

Sunday November 2, 2008

demonstrated the how tangible thoughts are and how they produce results.  Using a computer attached to the brain individuals with challenges can communicate with thoughts.  They can write and control robotic devices.

The patterns of energy produced through intention can be measured, read and produce results.  Where will this take us in the future?  Give a look see --- Here is a link to the segment Brain Power:

Financial Observation from the past

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Thomas Jefferson 1802

Wise words and was any one listening?

In this time of termoil and uncertainity one thing we need to remind ourselves is stay out of fear.  The possibilities are unlimited in our changing world and being adaptive and creative keeps our energy and our lives more balanced.

What I learned from the first rejection of the bailout plan by the house: The congressman/woman were listening to their voters.  The voters said no more lining the pockets of the people who put us in this mess in the first place.  That is what they should do.

Now as I hear about the Senate vote I wonder is they were listening.  The house is up for election yet only 1/3 of the Senate is campaigning.  Big difference!
